July 21 is the day you want to be in Spencer. The Spencer Swamp Stompers are holding the annual summer vintage show and swap meet.

"Ole Iron Days" says it all. On display will be vintage cars, tractors, trucks, motorcycles and, of course, snowmobiles.

Dash plaques will be presented to the first 25 cars and first 10 motorcycle entries. Registration is $6 per entry with a maximum of $21. A dollar of each registration goes to Spencer organizations. Cash prizes will be given for People's Choice.

The meet will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Awards will be given at 2:30 p.m.

Bring your family and enjoy a nice summer Sunday at the village park located in the center of town. Start your day by attending the Lions breakfast from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Browse through these outstanding looking machines on display.

Usually the snowmobiles are in the center of the park and the cars, trucks, cycles and tractors are lined up along Park Street. It is a sight you don't want to miss. If you can't make the breakfast, make sure you visit the Spencer Swamp Stompers' food stand. There you can tantalize your taste buds with the likes of brats, burgers, fries and cheese curds. Doesn't that just make your mouth water? Beverages will also be available.

There will a number of raffles. Baskets containing various products will be on display for you to buy tickets for. These products are donated by club members. For your listening pleasure, you can take in the sounds of DJ Brown's Cruisin Sounds. He always provides wonderful music and keeps you going. Maybe just listening to him would be good enough for the day.

But, I still think you might want to take in some of the "ole iron" that will be on display. This is a rain or shine event. Call Jeremiah at 715-581-0390 with questions.
