? Disaster action team. Assist American Red Cross prevent, prepare for and respond to house fires, storms, tornadoes, floods and other emergencies. Responsibilities range from disaster response to housing and clothing victims. Call Wendy Savage at 877-618-6628 X7482 or wendy.savage@redcross.org.

? Become a Big Brother or Big Sister. More than 60 local children, ages 6 to 14, are waiting for a mentor. Play board games, help with homework or attend community events. The sky is the limit. Must commit for one year. Contact Linda Koepke at 715-848-2707 or lindak@bbbsncw.org.

? Catch the dust bunnies. Could you donate a couple of hours twice a month to help elderly or disabled neighbors with housekeeping? ? Community impact team. Volunteers mobilize action and recommend investing resources in programs to make a positive, lasting impact on priority needs in Marathon County.
