If there is one thing Warren Potash wants people to know about female athletes and the injuries they sustain during high school and college, it's this: Don't wait for an injury such as a torn anterior cruciate ligament to happen before doing something about it.
He has trained more than 600 female athletes since 1995, helping them minimize the risk of injuries through specialized techniques. Potash, who lives in the greater Los Angeles area, always makes sure to say "minimize" rather than "prevent," since injuries can't be totally eliminated.
