The Woodchucks' Dan Weigel could be described as a thinking-man's player.

He's a philosophy and religion major at Bucknell, an avid book reader and a number-cruncher and sabermetrics fanatic. In addition, not blessed with overpowering pitches, Weigel's success on the mound is based on a gameplan of changing speeds and pinpoint control with his three-pitch arsenal.
