Harbor House hopes for quick rebound from fire

Harbor House was over its capacity when a fire broke out Saturday in one of the domestic abuse shelter's residential rooms.

The shelter's 65 residents - 29 adults and 36 children - will likely be displaced through the end of the week. The American Red Cross is assisting 35 residents with temporary lodging and the others are staying with family and friends, said Beth Schnorr, Harbor House Domestic Abuse Programs executive director.
