Peter J. Hanson, accused in the 1998 death of a Green Bay teen, was convicted of 52 counts of possession of child pornography in Oconto County Court.

Hanson pleaded no contest Monday, the day his trial was to begin, to all of the counts as part of a plea agreement. Judge Michael T. Judge set sentencing for Aug. 15.

In exchange for his plea, the repeater modifier was deleted from all of the counts, which could have added up to two years to each count. The state agreed to cap its sentence recommendation at six years in ...
