The Warrior Princess Mud Run will be providing men, women and teens of the Fox Valley with some unclean fun while benefiting Harbor House Domestic Abuse Programs.

At Mosquito Hill Nature Center of New London, thousands of runners will be getting muddy, sweaty and dressed in elaborate costumes in the run, which combines a noncompetitive 5K run with obstacles.

The WPMR will begin at 9 a.m. with the first wave of 75 participants. Waves will continue every 10 minutes with the final wave of the day heading out at 2:10 p.m. A new feature this year, Life Span Runs, will allow teens at least 13 years of age to join in. However, teens must participate with an adult over 25 years of age.

Runners are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Registration is $85 through Sept. 15 and $100 after Sept. 15. All registrants must sign a medical waiver.

For more information or to register, visit www.warriorprincessmudrun.org.
