Fall safety programs offered

Red Cross Preparedness and Prevention Day is Thursday at the Marshfield Public Library. Two programs will be offered.

"Preventing Slips, Trips, and Falls" is at 4 p.m. in General Meeting Room. Learns about steps for caregivers, families, friends of seniors or disabled adults to help your loved ones remain safe at home. "Be Red Cross Ready" is at 6 p.m. in the Beebee Forum Room. Learn steps to take to prepare for the disaster you did not see coming.

There will be free door prizes to the first 10 people that will include parts of preparedness kits. Programs will be presented by American Red Cross professionals.
