A woman received a municipal ciation and her dog is being quarantined after it bit a man and another dog in a downtown Oshkosh park Saturday afternoon.

Joe Nichols, spokesman for the Oshkosh Police Department said a 51-year-old Oshkosh woman had the pit bull terrier to Riverside Park on Saturday at 1:15 p.m., when the dog bit another dog and a 47-year-old Oshkosh man. No information was available about where the man was bit, but he was taken to Mercy Medical Center. Police did not provide the condition of the dog that was bit, Nichols said.

The pit bull was taken to Lakeside Animal Clinic, where it will be quarantined for 10 days. The woman, who was warned Friday that dogs were not allowed in the park, received a citation for allowing a dog to run at large, Nichols said.
