Jacke moves up to No. 3 on Packers' field goal list

Jul. 15, 2013

Although Chris Jacke hasnít kicked for the Packers since their Super Bowl XXXI victory over the New England Patriots, he moved into third place on the teamís all-time field goal percentage list this past season.

Jacke, who will be inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame on Saturday, converted 173 of 224 career field goal attempts (77.23%), which ranks No. 3 all time behind Ryan Longwell (226 of 277, 81.59%) and Jan Stenerud (59 of 73, 80.82%).

Jacke climbed ahead of Mason Crosby on the list this past year when Crosby converted just 21 of 33 field goals and saw his career percentage drop from 79.39% to 76.8% (152 of 198 field goals).

Jacke still holds Packers records for most field goals of 50 or more yards in a career (17) and season (6 in 1993). He shares the record with Longwell for most field goals in a game (5), although Jacke pulled off the feat twice.
