Mosinee Community Theatre takes on 'Chicago'

Expectations have been set high for Mosinee Community Theatre's performance of "Chicago," the Prohibition-era musical about murder and corruption.

It's something of a coup for the Mosinee Community Theatre to be able to perform the musical in the first place, because the rights to perform the production are limited because it's also now being performed on Broadway and touring the country. Still, Mosinee Community Theatre leaders asked to perform the show more than a year ago, and hoped to perform it last summer, said Keith DuPuis, who co-directs the play with Carla Dul.
