A Chicago man accused of supplying heroin to a man who overdosed and died in 2011 has reached a plea agreement with prosecutors.

David Purnell, 25, faces charges of manufacturing or delivering heroin, possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, manufacturing or delivering cocaine and maintaining a drug trafficking place. At a status conference Friday, lawyers on both sides of the case indicated a plea agreement was reached.
