Legion baseball: Bays pull out last-inning win

Chiefs also beat Wrightstown

Sturgeon Bay rallied for five runs in the final inning to beat Wrightstown, 7-3, Saturday afternoon in an American Legion baseball game in Wrightstown.

The win keeps the Bays in contention for the East Division championship of the Fox River Valley League. The Bays (7-3) trailed Chilton (8-3) by a half game going into their game Tuesday night at Northern Door. They're scheduled to finish the league season tonight at home against Denmark.

"If we can win the last two, we're guaranteed a share (of the title)," said Bays manager George Husby. "So we're hoping to take care of our business." ...
