Racing: Ratajczak holds on in wild finish

Scott Ratajczak survived a wild final lap Saturday night to win his first ever feature in the IMCA Sport Mods at Thunderhill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay.

Other feature winners were Greg Gretz (IMCA Modifieds), Troy Muench (IMCA Stock Cars), Sawyer Haese (IMCA Hobby Stocks) and Keith Kickbusch (Street Stocks).

Ratajczak, in only his second night in the IMCA Sport Mods, raced to the lead from his front-row starting spot. Ryan LeMieux steadily worked through the field from row four and at the midway point was in the runner-up position, chopping away at Ratajczak's half-lap lead. ...
