Annual Door County Plein Air Festival takes place July 22-27

Thirty-seven nationally and internationally recognized plein air painters from the United States and Mexico will become part of the local scenery over the next week during the seventh annual Door County Plein Air Festival, hosted by the Peninsula School of Art.

The artists are coming to depict the beauty of the Peninsula from July 22 to 27. Both free and ticketed events encourage attendees to interact with the invited plein air masters as they use the Door County landscape as muse and studio to complete paintings within two hours to capture the quality of sunlight on a scene.
