Itís almost that time.

Packers training camp begins in a little more than a week and St. Norbert College is getting ready.

On Wednesday, the De Pere college packed larger, stronger mattresses into 100 dorm rooms in Victor McCormick Hall, said Kelly Nass, who directs Packers training camp at the college.

The longer, heavy-duty beds are meant to better support the players. Packers players will move into their training quarters July 24 and will stay in the dorm until mid-August.

There will be no training activities on the campus, but transportation and meals are included.

The Packers have stayed at St. Norbert College over training season for 56 years, the longest relationship between a professional football team and a college in the NFL.
