No relief in sight for spiking gas prices

Gasoline prices continue to climb in Green Bay, reflecting a trend that is happening across the Midwest.

The average retail price for a gallon of gasoline in Green Bay was $3.69 at midday Wednesday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 127 area gasoline outlets. That's about 20 cents higher than one week ago.

The national average price on Wednesday was $3.67 per gallon, up 15 cents from where it stood one week ago, and nowhere in the country has the price climb been any steeper than in the Great Lakes region. ...
