10 YEARS AGO: The Marshfield Parks and Recreation Department and the Wildwood Zoological Society will host an educational program at Wildwood Zoo. Nature's Niche will present the program on snakes.

Joan (Grosbier) Jensen and James Zoellner were married June 21, 2003, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The bride was given in marriage by her son Todd Jensen.

25 YEARS AGO: The dedication of the Vietnam statue at The Highground has been announced. Alan Jenkins, chairman of the board of directors, announced that they voted to hold the event at the site on Sept. 18.

50 YEARS AGO: Last place Hewitt stunned first place Rozellville 3-1 in a major upset in the eastern division of the Yellow River league. The loss knocked the Rosie's out of first place.

75 YEARS AGO: Several hundred people were entertained Thursday at Greenwood Park as guests of the Clark County Highway Committee and highway employees at their annual picnic. County Treasurer James H. Fradette acted as master of ceremonies.
