Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila's NFL career appeared over before it started. At least, that's what popular opinion seemed to indicate on April 21, 2001.

Fresh off his first NFL season, the phone of the Green Bay Packers' eventual all-time sack leader began lighting up with calls and concern regarding Jamal Reynolds' 10th-overall selection and what it meant for Gbaja-Biamila's employment.
