Kids getting too hot to handle? Has the recent heat wave got you reaching your boiling point? Maybe it's time to chill out.

One way to do that is to head to Mead Pool in Wisconsin Rapids, which is observing National Aquatic Week with daily activities. Monday was Western Day - swimmers could use squirt guns in the pool - and Tuesday was snorkel day, with swimmers retrieving numbered golf balls from the pool's bottom to redeem for prizes.
