Child care centers in Wood County are working to become more breast-feeding friendly.

Thanks to grant money from the Wood County Health Department and Wood County Breastfeeding Coalition, 15 child care centers in Marshfield, Biron, Nekoosa, Vesper and Wisconsin Rapids each received $1,000 to help meet the "Ten Steps to Breastfeeding Friendly Child Care Centers" criteria outlined by the state.
