A person may be able to drive off with food from a fast food restaurant, but they shouldn't walk off with the seating.

That's the lesson for a 24-year-old Oshkosh man who was caught by police as he and another man carried a restaurant's picnic table down Algoma Boulevard early Thursday morning.

An Oshkosh Police who was officer was in the parking lot at the police department saw the men carrying thepicnic table down the street at 1:15 a.m. Thursday. When the officer went to speak with the men, they dropped the table and started running, said Joe Nichols, spokesman for the Oshkosh Police Department.

The officer was able to apprehend the 24-year-old.

He was cited for resisting/obstructing an officer and had to carry the picnic table back to where he taken it from at Hardee's, Nichols said.
