Kevin Nooyen was 17 and preparing to enter military boot camp when he signed up for Green Bay Packers season tickets in 1976.

"I thought maybe I'd get them when I got back here and I ended up waiting 37 years," the Ashwaubenon man, now 55, said Thursday. He was among thousands of fans who attended the unveiling of about 7,000 new seats in the renovated south end zone section at Lambeau Field. Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy took part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony held in front of the new Shopko Gate at the stadium.
