Family fun is a short journey from Wausau at the 32st annual Lake DuBay Lions Summerfest.

The event at DuBay Lions Park begins with bingo and live country music of the Jerry Schmitt band from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Friday night.

The second day of Summerfest begins with breakfast served from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and a rummage sale starting at 8 a.m. Kids can enjoy the children's petting zoo from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Then at 4 p.m., there's a Polka Mass with the Old Time Brass & Choraleers, and a chicken dinner at 5 p.m.

Also from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, The Dewey Fire Department sponsors a motorcycle ride from Lions Park to Dells of the Eau Claire and back. The event raises funds for the Lions Club and Dewey Fire Department, according to Lions Club member Tom Mrozinski. Register at 10:30 a.m.

There is a raffle that pays 15 cash prizes totaling $5,000. First prize is $1,200, Mrozinski said. The raffle winners be drawn at 10 p.m. Enjoy the music of The Cow Tippers from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
