Natasha Phillips and Vicki Hollenbeck sort through donations during the Stuff the Bus event for the new Caring Closet at Southern Door Schools.

The school bus was parked at the Brussels Community Center as part of the Belgian Days festivities and community members dropped off clothing, school supplies and more.

Donations are still being accepted for the Caring Closet. The wish list includes toothbrushes and toothpaste, deodorant, hair products, soaps, feminine products, folders, binders, notebooks, pens, pencils, calculators, backpacks, shoes, new underwear and socks, winter clothes and outwear, and graduation gowns. Hangers are very much in need as well.

Monetary donations are also being accepted and can be made to Southern Door Schools Caring Closet and sent to Southern Door Schools, 2073 County DK, Brussels WI 54204.
