2014 capital improvements plan needs to be reviewed

A resolution set for consideration at Tuesday's Door County Board meeting would set aside $1.5 million from the county's current reserves for an ambulance building, the purchase of property, replacing the county museum and improvements at the fairgrounds.

The resolution was developed by the board Finance Committee Monday, when tentative capital improvements for 2014 were laid out.

Not including the set-aside dollars, next year's capital improvements include $3.5 million for road rebuilding, $200,000 for emergency communications upgrades, $250,000 for a new video security ...
