Bark in the Park back with a new name

The popular Bark in the Park turns into Bark by the Bay this year. Martin Park at Third Avenue and Maple Street in Sturgeon Bay is the new venue for the Door County Humane Society event, which will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 24.

There is a registration fee of $25 and you can get an official 2013 Bark T-shirt for additional $25. Proof of your pet's rabies vaccination is required for registration. You can find the Bark by the Bay Pledge form at the doorcountyhumanesociety.org website.
