Give Lynne Stahl a supply of Diet Pepsi and a good "NCIS'' marathon and there's no telling how many tutus she can crank out in a day - or night.

"You just sit and you just go,'' said Stahl, who has been known to burn the midnight oil at her Ayla's Beenies & Crafts and occasionally crash overnight on the couch at the Allouez boutique.

She has her first granddaughter, Ayla Colombo, to thank for getting her reacquainted with the sewing machine. When she was born four years ago, Stahl couldn't wait to buy her one of those frilly bonnets that she had put on her own children as babies 30 years ago. Just one ...
