10 YEARS AGO: A bloodmobile visit is scheduled from July 23 at the VFW Hall, Stratford. It is sponsored by the ladies auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 6352, of Stratford.

Several Wick Building Systems Inc. employees were honored at this year's Longevity Awards Banquet. Honored for 30 years of service to the company were Mike Hiles, Ken Luepke, Dick Voigt, Dale Machtan, Mike Gleisner, Gerry Zopfi, Bill Bauer, John Weis, Mike Griesbach, Joe Krasne, Cal Buelow, Chuck Aschenbrenner, Pete Weinfurtner, Carole Pankratz and Tom Palecek.

25 YEARS AGO: Bob Getter of the Whitewater Optimist Club conducted the new member initiation during a recent meeting of the Marshfield Optimist Club. New members initiated are Jim Alexander, Scott Corbet, Nancy Hill, Mary Tishim, Linda Fish, Jon Vandhey and Skip Perkins.

50 YEARS AGO: A fly control clinic was held at the Warren Fischer farm, Rozellville. Personnel from the Marathon County agricultural agent's office and from the Farmers Union Coop, Stratford, demonstrated and discussed recommended fly control on dairy farms.

75 YEARS AGO: Curtiss Henning, Marshfield, has purchased the White House Cigar Factory at 104S. Chestnut St. Mr. Henning, assisted by Arthur Bever, will continue the manufacture of White House cigars.
