Golf classic raises $71,000 for charity

The Team Schierl Companies' Golf Classic was held on June 19 at the Stevens Point Country Club. Team Schierl Companies and former NFL players Bill Schroeder, Jerry Wunsch, Ryan Longwell and Frank Winters assisted in raising more than $71,000 for the Circle of Friends Foundation and the Team Schierl Charitable Giving Fund.

The golf classic was attended by 160 golfers who participated in the fundraising event by paying a golf entry fee, participating in on course activities, raffles and bidding on items in both a silent and live auction. Corporate sponsors assisting Team Schierl Companies ...
