Rows of recreational vehicles shining in the sun greeted people Friday as they turned off Highway 13 onto Akron Drive.

As visitors drove into the parking lot, the faint, consistent sound of gunfire could be heard from the distance. Taking a short walk across the parking lot, past yellow trailers and tents gave people some relief from temperatures that went well into the 90s.
