Elmer F. Blonien Post 485, the American Legion, Rudolph, held its regular meeting July 11 with 43 members present. Guests Bill Cahak and Doug Kasten attended.

The post received two letters from Badger Boys State representatives, Alex Ashbeck and Colton Nieman. Both were very pleased to be chosen to go, and both said they learned very much about government.

The post conducted military funeral honors for veteran William (Bill) Good.

We welcome new member Verlyn Ashbeck of Wisconsin Rapids. Memebership is at 122.

A marching unit and color guard attended the Milladore Legion annual picnic and Pittsville Legion/VFW picnic. The post will send the color guard and marching unit to parades in Junction City, Vesper and Arpin.

The next meeting is Aug. 8. New members are welcome.
