Early runs carry Oshkosh to win

The Oshkosh Legion scored five runs in the first two innings and then held off a late Kimberly charge for a 6-4 victory at E.J. Schneider Field on Saturday afternoon.

Michael Becker's two-run single in the first staked Oshkosh to the lead before the Legion added three runs in the second on an RBI-double by Chris Hetzel, a squeeze bunt from Sam Hawley and a run-scoring single from Brandon Schroeder.

Oshkosh then made it 6-0 in the fifth on Ben Domasky's squeeze bunt. ...
