The 12th annual Carlsville Day, a traditional celebration of what the community seven miles north of Sturgeon Bay has to offer, takes place July 27 at several locations.

Among the highlights of the event is the parade, which starts at 10 a.m. and travels along Wisconsin 42 from Harbour Village Resort south to Morning Sun Road. Other highlight events are the popular cherry and grape stomp from 1 to 2 p.m. at Door Peninsula Winery, 5806 Wisconsin 42; the Wild West re-enactment at noon and the cherry pie eating contest at 1 p.m., both at Door County Coffee.
