Trudie Chico and Diane Duffy were manning the typically quiet of the first-aid booth at Copperfest when a man rushed up during lunchtime.

"Someone came running and said a man was choking, so we just took off running," Duffy recalled.

Duffy and Chico, members of Pensaukee First Responders, arrived at the food tent seconds later and found the man showing obvious signs of choking. ...
