Local health officials are keeping an eye on two food-borne illnesses spreading across several states, including Wisconsin.

Nearly 300 people in several states have been struck recently by cyclospora infections, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The Food and Drug Administration is investigating the illness, which is most often found in tropical or subtropical countries and has been linked to imported fresh produce in the past.
