MPSD summer school class at Pinecrest teaches students about the old days

No electricity, strict rules for students and teachers, long dresses for women and girls, starting fires with flint and steel. Life was hard in pioneer days, as two-dozen Manitowoc students learned this week during a special summer school class at Pinecrest Historical Village.
