So far, no good for the Manitowoc 17-U baseball team. But today is another day.

Post 88 had as many fielding errors as it did hits in an 8-0 loss to Eau Claire in its opening game of the Wisconsin American Legion 17-U State Tournament, being held at Municipal Field.

The eight-team, double-elimination tournament continues today and runs through Sunday. While Manitowoc struggled, coach Mathew Roberts realized the fight is far from over. Post 88 takes on Union Grove in an elimination game today at 1 p.m. ...
