Kronenwetter farmers market continues to grow

The weather cooled down by about 25 degrees July 21, and Kronenwetter residents ventured outside for the first time in days to enjoy the weather and buy locally grown produce.

The farmers market - currently in its second year - opens at 9 a.m. on Sundays through Oct. 13 and features about 10 to 12 vendors each week, with a variety of produce and flowers. The July 21 market at Sunset Park also offered for the first time an EBT FoodShare payment option for select vendors.
