Washington Island School District will not be moving forward with implementing a new project-based curriculum for the 2013-14 school year after all.

Expeditionary Learning, also known as EL, is both the name of the program and the professional development company that created it. The curriculum engages students in "project-based outcome expeditions" designed to build critical thinking and innovation.
