Committees recommend revisions to EMR coverage

Two Door County Board committees Thursday voted to advance a proposal addressing concerns raised by emergency medical responder (EMR) groups regarding workers' compensation insurance.

Leaders of the 10 volunteer groups balked at having their sponsoring local town or village governments sign a new EMR agreement with the county, objecting to requirements regarding insurance in general and workers' compensation in particular.
