ATV racer wins third straight national title

A Sturgeon Bay boy recently made history in the ATV Motocross National Championship racing circuit.

Gunnar Tebon, 12, claimed the 70cc class points title for a record third straight year by winning six of the first eight races. He has an insurmountable lead over the other 28 boys in his field with two races remaining in Michigan and Tennessee.

"He's the only kid ever to win three consecutive championships in one class," said Jeff Tebon, Gunnar's father. "Most kids never win a championship, yet three in a row. Gunnar's on fire." ...
