Tom Pease takes the stage on Thursday, Aug. 1 at 2 p.m. at the Fox Lake Community Center. This program, sponsored by the Fox Lake Public Library, is being funded by the Nelson G. and Vera C. Hicks Charitable Foundation. It is the fourth in a series of Summer Reading Performances.

Pease has an infectious sense of fun and community-building in his shows, and engages children of all ages with his humorous lyrics. He has been working full-time since 1982, often doing 200 programs a year.

He is a frequent presenter at early childhood and environmental conferences that explore the role of music in shaping our lives. His performance is one of the most popular shows in the performing arts series at the Overture Center in Madison.

This program is free to the public. Call the Fox Lake Public Library at 928-3223 for more information.
