For the second year in a row, the Fond du Lac Piano Teachers Association will be holding a brat fry to support the piano growth of the students in the Fond du Lac and the surrounding areas.

On Saturday, Aug. 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Korneli's on Main Street (formerly Ma and Pa's), area piano teachers will be serving brats and homemade baked goods. Baked goods will be coming right from the kitchens of the area piano teachers so they are guaranteed to be delicious!

The Fond du Lac Area Piano Teachers association is a non-profit group of local piano teachers who meet several times a year and plan events to enhance the piano experience of their students and to help keep their teaching fresh.

Yearly events that this brat fry will help to support are Christmas At The Mall, Fond du Lac Piano Association Piano Festival, The Fond du Lac Piano Association Honors Recital, Spring At The Mall, The Kris Westphal Piano Camp Scholarship, and guest speakers for the teachers, students and at times the public.

Teachers involved in the Fond du Lac Piano Teachers Association include: Sandy Albano, Georgine Antos, Kristina Arellano, Debbie Bruns, Helen Gilsdorf, Joan Gratton, Barb Gray, Diana Jewson, Kris McLain, Georgine Micklos, Wendy Pelletier, Michelle Robson, Sister Bernadette Salm, Helene Schrankler and Julie Warner.

For more information check the Website at www.fdlpianoteachers.org; or call Georgine Micklos (president) of 922-1698 for possible piano openings with a local teacher.
