People who responded to an online poll at the Daily Tribune Media website, www.wisconsinrapidstribune.com, said heights were among their top fears, followed by being trapped.

A total of 259 voters responded to the question: "What are you afraid of?" Ninety-six voters (37.07 percent) said heights (acrophobia); 83 votes (32.05 percent) were cast for being trapped; and 48 votes (18.53 percent) went for spiders (arachnophobia) and or other creepy, crawly or hopping things.

Only 22 (8.49 percent) votes were cast for fear of water (hydrophobia). Ten votes (3.86 percent) went to fear of flying (aerophobia). Check out the new poll question. Look for the blue "What everyone's talking about" graphic.
