When I saw the flier, I had to stop and do a double-take.

A popular area attraction was inviting the public to participate in "old-fashioned" jam making. Organizers chose "old fashioned" because the process that was going to be used involved cooking the fruit.

"Gee, isn't that how everyone makes jam?" I wondered, or am I starting to show my age. ...
