Motorcyclist injured in crash in Howard

One person was injured in a collision between a car and a motorcycle near Packerland Drive and Wisconsin 29 in Howard Tuesday afternoon.

The crash occurred around 5:40 p.m. when the car made a left turn in front of the motorcycle, according to the Brown County Sheriff's Department. The car and motorcycle were traveling opposite directions on Cardinal Lane.

The motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital with what were described as nonlife-threatening injuries.

The incident closed the roadway near the crash for about two hours, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
