10 YEARS AGO: Psychiatrists Dr. Floriane R. d'Oleire and Dr. Todd K. Cannon have joined the department of psychiatry and behavioral health at Marshfield Clinic. Also, a new physical therapist has joined the staff of the new Marshfield Clinic Colby/Abbottsford Therapy Center in Colby.

A ballroom dance will be held Aug. 8 at Belvedere Supper Club.

25 YEARS AGO: Columbus High School's class of 1968 had its 20-year reunion earlier this month. Members of the planning committee were Carole (Kopf) Bradley, Kathy (Patefield) Doebereiner, Chuck Schindhelm, Marie (Biehler) Charron, Kathy (Metz) Schweikl, Cindy (Pokallus) Schuster and Jane (Gowey) Chapel.

50 YEARS AGO: Otto A. Sinkie, a retired lawyer and businessman from Grand Island, Neb., was in Marshfield as part of a tour to promote the idea of a social system based on altruism and democracy. The 78-year-old crusader said there should be equal opportunity to afford all people, regardless of race, creed or color.

75 YEARS AGO: The Roddis Union softball team continued its victory parade by winning a doubleheader from Stevens Point and Wausau at the fairgrounds. Mose Steger pitched the 3-2 win over Stevens Point, and Cliff Billings was the winner 3-1 against Wausau.
