Children are invited to have fun with mud at 10 a.m. Aug. 7 at the Iola Village Library, 180 S. Main St., Iola.

There will be a mud puddle and sandbox to dig in along with mud painting and mud and sand dough to get creative with. For those who don't like to get dirty there will also be "clean mud." When it is time for cleanup you can try out the "kid washer" to erase every last speck of mud. A "muddy" surprise snack also will be served.

Participants should wear a bathing suit or old clothes.

The program is free. For more information, stop by the library or call 715-445-4330.
