Lincoln Center offers classes and activities for older adults. The Aging & Disability Resource Center of Portage County is a one-stop resource for services for seniors, adults with disabilities, their families and caregivers. The Diabetes Chat Group will meet from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 7. The topic of the discussion will be about healthy snacking options. Healthy, low-calorie snacks will be available to sample. There is no cost to attend. Please call ahead to reserve a space and sample plate by Tuesday,715-346-1401.

Monday

7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.: Walking Club.

11:30 a.m.: Music by Agnes Mallek.

1 p.m.: Scrabble; bridge.

Lunch menu: Meatloaf, boiled baby red potatoes, three bean salad, whole grain roll, fruit salad. Bingo at the Amherst dining site (12:30 p.m.)

Tuesday

7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.: Walking Club.

8:30 a.m.: Seniorobics.

9 a.m.: Stepping On at Portage County Health Care Center.

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Pool tables open play.

10 a.m.: Living with late stage Alzheimer's disease.

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Holly Shoppe open.

10 a.m.: Fun & Fit exercise.

10:30 a.m.: Chair massage.

11 a.m.: Arthritis Foundation exercise.

11:30 a.m.: Music by Pat Keller.

12:30 p.m.: Bridge.

3 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Walking Club.

5 p.m.: Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group.

Lunch menu: Barbecued pork on a bun, green bean casserole, fresh grapes, chocolate chip cookie.

Round Table Crafters (10 a.m.) and smear (11:15 a.m.) at the Plover dining site; bingo at the Junction City dining site (12:30 p.m.); memory screens at the Rosholt dining site (1:30 a.m.)

Aug. 7

Lunch menu: Turkey and cheese on a whole wheat sub bun, cream of broccoli soup, strawberries, vanilla wafers.
